A Plus Inspires Future Healthcare Professionals at Edmonson County High School Career Fair

On May 8, representatives from A Plus had the opportunity to engage with the next generation of healthcare professionals at the Edmonson County High School Career Fair. Team members Amy, Jeannie, and Sherrell connected with students throughout the day, sharing insights into healthcare careers and the vital roles available at A Plus.

Students visiting the A Plus table were greeted with friendly faces and some fun takeaways—including bags of chips and packets of flower seeds to help sow curiosity and growth beyond the classroom.

A highlight of the booth was SAM, the state-of-the-art heart and lung sound simulator, which allowed students to listen to real-life physiological sounds used in medical training. The simulator, generously provided by HealthForce KY, sparked interest and conversation among students considering paths in nursing, medicine, and allied health fields.
